Introduction and Background

      69 Years and Still Strong

On June 27, 1956,  1100 people were present for the ribbon cutting and the grand opening of the first community pool in Fieldale. The Fieldale swimming pools have been a beloved space for recreation and community. Individuals of all ages have enjoyed these pools, making them a cherished part of local life.  Due to natural wear and tear, it was essential to renovate and modernize the facilities to meet current safety standards and ensure their future.
